touchant l’expression des pratiques religieuses, l’hypersexualisation, la polygamie, la sécurité économique des femmes et la violence à leur endroit. Mme Pelchat a mis sur pied la Fondation contre l’indifférence pour l’aide à l’enfance. Elle est une source d’inspiration et de motivation pour les femmes.
Au cours des prochaines semaines, la Fondation Y des femmes dévoilera les récipiendaires des dix autres catégories de sa 18e édition de la Soirée-bénéfice Prix Femmes de mérite, sélectionnées par un jury émérite. « Il s’agit de Montréalaises qui, par leurs actions quotidiennes, leur personnalité et leurs démarches professionnelles ont su enrichir la communauté et contribuer à l’avancement des femmes dans la société », affirme Isabelle Hudon, présidente, Financière Sun Life, Québec, qui assure la présidence d’honneur de la Soirée-bénéfice Prix Femmes de mérite, qui se déroulera le 26 septembre prochain, à l’hôtel Le Centre Sheraton Montréal.
